Blogging in two separate sites is so bad.  I worry that someday when I'm famous this will make it more difficult to piece together my memoirs, or at the very least, pass on the awful legacy of minutae that is motherhood to my daughters with pride.  Here you go girls, the twenty years of my life in which I was reduced to a cross between Lucy Ricardo and Bianca Jagger as I devoted myself oh so half-heartedly to motherhood.

But livejournal is down and I traded the Penis Department for Ti's bedtime so I could have a beer to myself (thereby allocating that 5th beer to myself later) and mourn the fact that I drink too much and still prefer being in a codependant relationship over doing my own thing.

People are missing, which I find frustrating because I wish I had more to share, but I'm too vain and I was completely blocking lovejunk.

My dad is awesome, both as a dad and as a grandpa.  But you don't understand how hard that is to say when he's married to my stepmama, because she has been more to me than a girl ever could have hoped for in a female role model.

And while I'm on such a positive, family loving note, please think good things about my grandmother, who is in the hospital this week after breaking her hip the day we got back.  Unfortunately, this the only pic of me on my camera fromt eh second trip, so here I go un-vainifiying myself to share this hideaous gem with you.  Yay, And it looks like, yep, I'm breastfeeding.
